Brisbane Technology Park, Eight Mile Plains
 
The Brisbane Technology Park is an initiative of the Queensland Government and is an integral component of the Smart State Strategy to promote and foster technology-based industries. This park is situated at the junction of Brisbane's arterial road system with easy access to the Pacific, Gateway and Logan Motorways. It is approximately 15 minutes drive from the CBD via the Pacific Motorway and 20 minutes drive to the Brisbane Airport via the Gateway Motorway.
 
Brisbane Technology Park is a precinct that brings together organisations in diverse technology clusters including biotechnology, electronics, environmental science, pharmaceuticals, software and technology support services.
 
It is home to over 86 national and multi-national companies, employing in excess of 3000 people. These companies take advantage of the strategic location, infrastructure and very attractive property occupancy costs.
